Help with the Cost of Child Care
Child care fee subsidy is available for families with children enrolled in licensed child care and school board‑operated before and/or after school programs.
The subsidy helps reduce the cost so parents can work, look for work, attend school, or participate in training.
Who is Eligible for Fee Subsidy?

- Each parent/guardian is employed, in school, planning to go to school, or has an extra support need
- Each parent/guardian has filed taxes for the most recent year
Exceptions: New immigrants this year and clients under 18 may apply without a recent tax return.
