Help with the Cost of Child Care

Child care fee subsidy is available for families with children enrolled in licensed child care and school board‑operated before and/or after school programs.

The subsidy helps reduce the cost so parents can work, look for work, attend school, or participate in training.

Who is Eligible for Fee Subsidy?

  • The family lives in Toronto or is moving to Toronto
  • Each parent/guardian is employed, in school, planning to go to school, or has an extra support need
  • Each parent/guardian has filed taxes for the most recent year
